Hi, I’m Bryan and welcome to Outdoor Gear and The Way.
I started Outdoor Gear because I really enjoy hunting, fishing and shooting. It’s been a passion of mine since I can remember, from shooting archery as a young boy with my dad to growing up fishing at Lake McConaughy with my grandpa. The joy I have had and the experiences along the way have shaped me into the man I am today.
Throughout these adventures and many others, I found my Faith. It was through my mother’s unwavering commitment and finding the right church family that I dedicated my life to Christ. Since then, I have found an amazing wife who is both supportive and strong in faith, and with her, we are experiencing life and love as a family of six.
My hope with this blog is that I can share my passions and lessons—not just about hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear, but also about the journey of faith that has run alongside it all. I want to provide practical tips and honest reviews for fellow outdoorsmen, share stories and reflections that connect the wild places we love to the deeper walk of faith, and offer encouragement for anyone seeking to grow both in the field and in their spiritual life.
